Sant'Angelo in Vado · 63rd edition

Every weekend in October the centre of Sant'Angelo in Vado fills with the scent of the Marche's prized white truffle. Truffle hunters' stalls, street food, open cellars and a Renaissance village that is worth the trip on its own. It opens on Saturday 10 October in Piazza Umberto I with the thousand-egg omelette.

Days: 10-11, 17-18, 24-25 October and 31 October-1 November.

Italy's white truffle capital opens its doors to chefs, food lovers and the curious from all over Europe. Seven days and more than fifty events: the truffle hunters' market, cooking shows, guided tastings, talks and outings with the hunters and their dogs. This year's guest country is Hungary.
