Discovering an area with such a wealth of resources couldn’t be a more pleasant experience. So many different, unique flavours to enjoy, with occasions to enjoy what is so generously produced and which the expert hands of the local people have been able to create.
Crescia flat bread, Casciotta cheese, exquisite fresh pasta, excellent wines and above all, truffles, which are found throughout the area.
The prestigious and rare white truffle of Acqualagna is the base of many local dishes.
Fine cold cuts, meats and olive oil are some of the finest products that the area has to offer.
“Fossa cheeses”, the typical “Casciotta urbinate” and other matured cheeses from the Montegeltro area are classed as absolute “pearls” on the national food and wine panorama. Fresh pasta made with flour and eggs, and the typical “crescia” flat bread are the basis of local cuisine.

Local wines are also very fine, including a very popular “Bianchello del Metauro DOC”, a white wine that is native to this area, and reds including “Sangiovese”. Hotel Colleverde uses typical local produce for its breakfasts.
